Terms

Last updated November 5, 2026

These terms cover the hosted service at pinlet.dev, the pinlet browser extension, and this website. pinlet is the operator, reachable at support@pinlet.dev. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The source code is MIT licensed. If you run it yourself, the MIT license governs the code and these terms do not apply to your instance.

Your account

Your content

Comments, screenshots and technical details you or your team create are yours. You give us permission to store, process and show them to the people and agents you gave access to, only to run the service. You are responsible for having the right to capture what you capture, including what appears in screenshots of the sites you comment on.

Acceptable use

Do not use pinlet to break the law, to collect other people's data without a right to do so, to send spam, to attack or overload the service, or to get around plan limits or access controls. Only add sites to a project that you are allowed to review. We may suspend accounts that do these things, and will tell you why.

Plans and payment

The service

We work to keep pinlet available and your data safe, but the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Features may change. If we ever shut the hosted service down, we will give at least 60 days notice and a way to export your data. The code stays open either way.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, pinlet is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can delete your account or workspace at any time from the dashboard or by email. We may end or suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. After an account is deleted, its data is removed as described in the privacy policy.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
